On 27th Jan, 2024 NSS unit and Department of Pharmacy Practice of East West College of Pharmacy, in association with TUNGSTEN Laboratories Pvt. Ltd & THROB–CDC (Chronic Disease Centre) organized a training Program on Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Dr. Haroon Rashid, Senior Cardiologist & CEO of THROB–CDC & Mr. Shujath Ulla Khan, Founder & Director, TUNGSTEN Laboratories Pvt. Ltd, expounded on the basics of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation which is essential to perform CPR in emergency conditions to the gathering. The presentation was followed by hands-on training session where Dr. Haroon Rashid demonstrated the CPR technique to all participants in groups using mannequin and then the participants were allowed to perform the same practically under his supervision. Certificates were issued to all the participants after the practical training session with individual volunteer milestone numbers.
