On 17th September 2025, East West College of Pharmacy, Off Magadi Road, Bengaluru, organized INIZIO 2025, the Orientation Programme for the academic year 2025–2026. The event marked a significant beginning for the new batch of students as they stepped into the world of pharmacy education with excitement, enthusiasm, and determination. The programme was inaugurated by the dignitaries, in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Poornima Jogi, Director, Youth Red Cross, Bengaluru District. In her address, Dr. Jogi inspired the young students by highlighting the importance of empathy, responsibility, and active involvement in community service. She encouraged the freshers to view their pharmacy journey not only as a professional pursuit but also as an opportunity to contribute positively to society.
The Orientation Programme was thoughtfully designed to introduce the freshers to the vision, mission, and culture of East West College of Pharmacy. It also familiarized them with the academic curriculum, facilities, student support services, and co-curricular activities. Sessions during the event focused on:
- Understanding the role of pharmacy professionals in healthcare.
- Opportunities in research, industry, and clinical practice.
- The importance of discipline, ethics, and continuous learning.
- Encouragement to actively participate in cultural, sports, and social outreach programmes of the college.
The event created an interactive environment where students could connect with faculty members and peers, paving the way for a smooth transition into their new academic journey.
The enthusiasm of the students, coupled with the guidance of the distinguished guests and faculty members, made the event a memorable one.
