Prof. Dr. Surulivel Rajan, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal was invited to deliver a lecture on “Concepts and applications of Pharmacometrics in Clinical Therapeutics and Drug Development” by the Departments of Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology & Pharmacy Practice on 18th March, 2023. The objective was to provide a common platform to discuss and update the knowledge with respect to the trend setting areas in Pharmacometrics in Pharmacy. He provided an excellent overview on Pharmacometrics and concluded that clarity has evolved over the years on issues related to the drug development and emphasized on the significance of artificial intelligence based pharmacometric systems.
