On 25th September 2025, NSS UNIT of EWCP conducted an inspiring and impactful day for NSS family! On this day, Swachhata Hi Seva, NSS Day and World Pharmacist Day were celebrated, all in one grand event filled with service, learning, and enthusiasm.
Guest speaker for this momentous occasion was Dr. Shashi Shekhar, NSS Program Officer, East West Institute of Technology. His motivating words encouraged every volunteer to continue carrying forward the torch of service with dedication, passion, and purpose. A special tribute was paid to the unsung heroes of healthcare by the dignitaries, faculties and the entire volunteers. Engaging discussions highlighted the vital contributions of pharmacists in promoting public health and building a healthier society. As a part of the programme, volunteers actively participated in a cleanliness drive, spreading awareness about the importance of a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment.
The event served as a beautiful reminder of the NSS motto — “Not Me, But You”. Unity, service, and compassion were reflected in every activity carried out by the volunteers. The celebration was a remarkable demonstration of the spirit of volunteerism, social responsibility, and commitment to community welfare that defines the NSS Unit.
