World Bicycle Day is observed globally to recognize the bicycle as a simple, affordable, reliable, and eco-friendly means of transport. The programme commenced with a brief inaugural session, where the dignitaries addressed the participants and highlighted the significance of adopting cycling in daily life to improve physical fitness, reduce traffic congestion, and minimize environmental pollution. Students, faculty members, and NSS volunteers actively participated in the event.

A bicycle rally was organized within and around the campus to spread awareness about the benefits of cycling. Participants carried placards and raised slogans promoting a healthy lifestyle, environmental conservation, and sustainable transportation. The rally attracted attention from the public and conveyed the message of reducing carbon emissions through the use of bicycles. Following the bicycle rally, NSS volunteers led the participants in taking a pledge to promote cycling as a regular mode of transportation and to adopt environmentally responsible practices in their daily lives.
