“ARAMBHA” the Fresher’s Day celebration at East West College of Pharmacy was organized to warmly welcome newly admitted students and help them begin their academic journey with enthusiasm and confidence. The program was held on February 14, 2026, at the Sports Complex of East West Group of Institutions. The event brought together students, faculty members, and dignitaries, creating a cheerful and joyful atmosphere and marking the beginning of a new phase in the lives of the freshers.
The program was held in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Mohammed Naseeruddin Inamdar, Principal; Dr. Purnima Ashok, Dean of Research and Development; and Dr. Purushotham B., Academic Director. They addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to remain dedicated and disciplined in their academic journey. They also highlighted the importance of participating in both academic and extracurricular activities for overall development and advised students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution.
The event also featured various cultural performances presented by students. The program included lively dance routines, musical acts, and other entertaining performances, adding energy and excitement to the celebration. These performances gave students a platform to showcase their creativity, confidence, and artistic talents, making the event lively and enjoyable for everyone present.
Several activities and games were organized, especially for the freshers, to make the event more engaging and memorable. These activities also served as selection rounds for choosing Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher. Through these fun and interactive tasks, the freshers showcased their confidence, talents, and personalities while interacting with seniors and familiarizing themselves with the college environment. An introductory session was also held, where the freshers introduced themselves and shared their interests and goals. At the end of the activities, the titles of Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher were awarded to the deserving participants. As a token of welcome and appreciation, gifts were distributed to all the freshers, making the occasion even more special and memorable.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, faculty members, organizers, and students for their support in making the event a success. The celebration ended with an energetic DJ set, where students enjoyed the music and dance, creating a lively, joyful atmosphere.
