The much-awaited Freshers’ Party, Genesis 2025, was held on 8th February, 2025 at East West College of Pharmacy, and it turned out to be an unforgettable day filled with fun, music, and celebration. Organized by the senior students, the event aimed to extend a warm welcome to the newly admitted batch of D. Pharm., B. Pharm., Pharm. D., & M. Pharm. and help them feel at home in their new academic journey.
The venue was beautifully decorated, setting a vibrant and energetic atmosphere for the day. The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by inspiring talks from the college dignitaries. They emphasized the importance of academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and the significance of camaraderie among students. The entertainment segment began with an array of cultural performances, including dance and music which captivated the audience where the freshers too showcased their incredible talents. The energy in the auditorium was electrifying as students cheered for their peers.
One of the major highlights of the day was the much-anticipated Mr. & Ms. Fresher contest, where students participated in multiple rounds, including introductions, fun activities, competitions and a Q&A session. The winners were crowned amidst loud cheers and applause. A lively DJ session wrapped up the event, with students hitting the dance floor, celebrating new friendships and a promising academic journey ahead. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of mementos, ensuring that everyone had a keepsake to remember this special day.
Genesis 2025 was a grand success, leaving the freshers with a sense of belonging and excitement for the years ahead.
