As a part of SWACHHTA HI SEVA 2024, as instructed by Government of India, NSS unit of East West College of Pharmacy in association with BBMP, Kengeri organized a program to create awareness among public on cleanliness in BBMP Park, Near RTO Office, Ullal, Bengaluru on 26th September 2024. Mrs. Poornima, AGM, BBMP Kengeri, Mrs. Manuja, AGM, BBMP Kengeri, teaching staff, non-teaching staff and NSS volunteers of EWCP participated in the campaign. The rally started from East West College of Pharmacy and ended at BBMP park. The NSS volunteers performed street play, dance and chanted slogans on the importance of cleanliness and created awareness among public during the rally. The NSS unit cleaned the surroundings of BBMP park and collected more than 200 kg of plastic which was further disposed with the help of BBMP workers. The program was largely appreciated by the public.
