A poster presentation competition was conducted on 9th March 2026 at Sagar Hospital Jayanagar on the occasion of World Kidney Day 2026 to raise awareness about kidney health on the theme “Caring for People and Protecting the Planet.”
The event aimed to educate people about risk factors such as diabetes, hypertension, smoking, dehydration, environmental factors and excessive painkiller use while emphasizing sustainable healthcare practices. Participants included Pharm. D. interns, medical students, and healthcare professionals. Our interns secured 1st prize (cash award), making the event a valuable learning experience that enhanced our knowledge, creativity, and communication skills while promoting kidney health awareness.
