Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC)
The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) of East West College of Pharmacy, established in 2024, is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment by ensuring equal access to opportunities for all students and staff, regardless of their socio-economic, cultural, gender, or physical backgrounds. The EOC aims to eliminate discrimination, address grievances, and support underrepresented groups through awareness programs, workshops, and initiatives that promote diversity, respect, and equal participation within the college community.
Vision:
To create an inclusive and equitable learning environment that promotes equal opportunities for all students and staff, irrespective of their socio-economic, cultural, and physical backgrounds.
Mission:
To foster a culture of equality and respect within the college community by implementing advocacy, awareness, and support initiatives that eliminate discrimination and enhance diversity.
Objectives:
Ensure Policy Compliance: To align all college policies and practices with the principles of equality, inclusion, and non-discrimination.
Address Grievances: To establish a transparent mechanism for addressing complaints related to discrimination and unfair treatment, providing necessary support and guidance.
Promote Awareness: To organize workshops, seminars, and awareness programs that educate the college community about diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Foster Inclusivity: To create a supportive environment that encourages the participation of all students, including those with disabilities, by ensuring accessibility and providing necessary accommodations.
Encourage Leadership and Participation: To provide platforms for students from diverse backgrounds to showcase their talents and take on leadership roles within the college community.

SC/ST Cell
The SC/ST Cell of East West College of Pharmacy, established in 2024, is dedicated to ensuring equal opportunities and creating a supportive environment for students and staff from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). Through targeted programs, workshops, and counselling, the SC/ST Cell promotes an inclusive atmosphere and aims to eliminate discrimination while fostering a sense of belonging for all.

To empower and uplift students and staff from SC/ST backgrounds by providing equal opportunities for academic, cultural, and professional growth within an inclusive and respectful environment.

To support the educational and personal development of SC/ST students by facilitating their academic and social integration, promoting equality, and ensuring access to all resources and opportunities for their success.
